Cykel Seattle is a mobile app for urban bike commuting created by Val Maughmer (valmaughmer.com/cykelseattle.html). She needed a fun, accessible, and colorful piece to promote the mobile app.
My role in this video was the overall concept, storyboarding, art direction, design, illustration and motion graphics. The video was created using Adobe After Effects with some Illustrator vector files. The client was very pleased with the final outcome of the video.
Office Nomads DISPLAY LIVE is an interactive screen displaying live updates of active members, blog posts, events, and who is in the building at that time. Office Nomads is a coworking community in the Capitol Hill neighborhood in Seattle, Washington.
They wanted to improve on their current screen that was hosted on an iPad. This new update engages the current members of their community as well as sparks interest to potential new members during their networking events. I produced the UX Animation in Adobe After Effects and designed all the assets in Photoshop.
The Summit Cafe is the re-branded cafe at Seattle Central College. On campus, there was no easy way to order breakfast to-go and have it ready upon arrival. The solution to this problem is a mobile app that let’s consumers “order-from-anywhere” and pick-up their food when they arrive on location.
This would streamline the breakfast experience for students with a busy schedule. My role in the project was User Experience, User Research, UI Design and the Overall Concept.
