Article is a “magalog” (magazine-catalog) concept company. The motivation behind this endeavor is promoting personal style and quality, rather than over consumption. How it works: with a quarterly subscription to Article, the buyer would receive a new classic unisex piece of clothing at the beginning of every season, along with a printed magalog to inspire personal style.
In order to establish brand and continue to advocate quality and style articlebasics.com was then born.
Horizon Air is a rebranding project motivated by the airline’s hypothetical divergence from their parent company: Alaskan Airlines.
The new business model that Horizon air’s adopting is based on affordable air travel around the North West, putting them in competition with trains, busses and long car rides instead of other airlines.
To fit the new company goals; the rebrand targets younger travelers on a budget, looking for a quick get away. This was essential to define Horizon air as the most fun and efficient way to travel the Northwest.
The name “Mattharlan” comes from the two middle names of the founding brothers. They saw an opportunity in the wine world and decided to start a online fine wines curating business. At first they came to me for a website but soon after realized that developing an esthetic to convey exclusivity and luxury would be crucial for Mattharlan’s success.
With that as our goal, we started an identity design project resulting in: website, logo, business cards, letter heads, sign up sheets, signitures, MailChimp templates, stamps and stickers.
