In addition to print layout and production, I developed a content strategy for the WordPress based blogazine in order to reach a wider audience. Multiple revenue streams, including sponsored stories, an online market, and print subscriptions, ensure a sustainable, scalable business model.
WaterWise is a wireless water meter and app designed to address the issue of water scarcity. In collaboration with Mandy Blouin, we set out to create an informative, engaging way for users to change their water habits, save money and lighten their eco-footprint. The scope of the project involved extensive user research, customer journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and multiple rounds of user testing.
We developed cohesive branding, packaging, a responsive landing page, promotional video, and model of the device. The resulting system facilitates water conservation by allowing users to monitor their consumption, view history reports, set goals, and calculate savings. We also created an integrated rewards system to provide motivation for ongoing engagement.
Viva is an organic juice cafe offering fresh-pressed juices and small bites for complete nutrition on the go. The app offers customers a streamlined system for placing orders in advance so they’re ready for pick-up when they arrive. The goal of this project was to solve the UX problem of ordering in advance while balancing business needs to create a scalable business plan.
I designed the interface based on my market research, rapid prototyping, and continuous user testing. A rewards program and the option to store favorites create a seamless, feel good experience that customers want to use several times a week.
